Then Zach, who dont want Julie to go along with his complicated life, decided to hurt her emotionally so she would go back home. But Julie is determined to uncover the truth about the murder Zach was accused of and in the course of her haphazard investigations when she gets back home, she meets his grandmother, who convinces her that Zach has always been violent-- perhaps mentally ill.
So Julie betrays Zach's whereabouts to the authorities when they were about to run away together. Then suddenly, the true murderer is discovered. Now Zach believes Julie to be a betrayer and wants nothing to do with her. Can Julie go back to her perfect small-town life as if Zach never come into her life?

..Absolutely PERFECT!! This is by far one of JM's finest novels and it will definitely make my top 3 alongside with Paradise and Whitney,my love. JM has really outdone herself yet again in this highly captivating novel that delves about Love, faith, and sacrifice.

►THE PLOT-- the betrayal type, signature of Judith McNaught and i tell you, you better get yourself a hanky cause it's absolutely a tear-jerker! Alright,on with it, if your into romance, you'd definitely love this for this novel excellently captures the essence of true love. It is kinda slow-start though and there are some subplots which i think arent of a big importance to the story anymore..like who for the world would want a detailed--i mean,VERY detailed love story of Zach and his wife? And that of Ted and Katty's? They just took up so many precious pages! And then there are some who should be there but JM seems to overlook them like what the did ever happened to Paul?! But nonetheless, aside from this minor flaws, it's awesome!

ok, THE CHARACTERS, as usual, are remarkable. Only McNaught could materialize the perfect blend of prince charming we have in our romantic hearts, and Zach is one perfect example! And Julie is so adorable herself..The secondary characters are so endearing as well and remarkable in their own ways. (I think one of the reasons why JM stood out among the others is her remarkable aptitude in creating prime and unforgettable characters-- Matthew Farrel, Meredith Bancroft, Jason Fielding, Victoria Seaton, just to name a few. She just dont create them, she gives life to them as well. ) Ok now,im rooting for Zach, dont get me wrong, but Paul is also a perfect prince charming..( On second thought, it's a good thing JM chose to overlook him after he unintentionally reconciled Zach and Julie because i'd sure be hurt in behalf of him. Lols.) And i love Katty, Ted, and the rest of the Mathisons!

hmm, THE WRITING is the typical JM way, very descriptive and tugging. I love it how she shifts from one character's perspective to another's, it makes the reader get a good view to whats going on in others mind other than the main characters'. And JM's ability to inject a right doze of witty humor is trully remarkable!! oh and i love that Perfect provides an occasional glimpse of my beloved Matt and Meredith Farrel and their adorable daughter and dear Joe O'hara! (i so love the humor of that beast :D)

This is truly one remarkable novel and would definitely evoke every possible human emotion from the readers, it'll make you cry, groan in frustration, and laugh (watch out for the snow scenes! :D)It is full of twists and turns, mounting suspense, outstanding revelations, witty humor , catchy lines and melodramatic scenes. (if you cried a cup of tears over Paradise, then you'd sure cry a bucket this time ;-)

I seriously love this book! If you're a sucker for romance, id sure wouldnt miss this for the world!
